Morality - Jan 31, 2007

"What value was a moral standard, if it disappeared the moment it became inconvenient or uncomfortable?" - Piers Anthony

Often times in society today, we sacrifice our moral values for the sake of convenience, or because we say that certain things prohibit our morals, or certain people do not deserve to be treated that well.

What we are really saying is that we cannot be burdened to be truely good people, it is too much trouble, and in so doing, we become the enemy, you cannot be morally superior and still lower your own moral values. A moral value you are willing to let go, is not a value at all.
