Stepping back

Well, I have had to step back from an organization I believed in, due to the actions of a few, as before I have had to step back from a certain venue, for the same reasons, they would not follow their own rules.
I had resisted being active with the group for many years because of the politics and BS that was there in the beginning, thought I was ready for it now, apparently not, people seem apathetic to doing the right things, and happy with the status quo, so I will put my effort elsewhere, where it may actually make a positive impact on the community as a whole.
Lies were told, rules violated, and the people who did so remain untouched, so I will absent myself before I am drawn to do something I would regret, it is better to be away from the issue where I cannot be drawn to doing something I would feel bad for later.
